By accessing or using EZInjuryDocs ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. The Service is provided by Heritage Personal Injury Firm LLC and its affiliates.
EZInjuryDocs provides an electronic document signing platform with AI-powered video explanations. The Service enables organizations to send, explain, and collect electronic signatures on legal documents in compliance with the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA).
By using the Service to sign documents electronically, you acknowledge and agree that: (a) your electronic signature is legally binding and has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature; (b) you consent to conducting transactions electronically; (c) you may withdraw your consent to electronic signatures at any time before signing by contacting the document sender; and (d) you have the right to request a paper copy of any document you sign electronically.
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) upload or transmit malicious code; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; (d) use the Service to send fraudulent documents; (e) impersonate any person or entity; or (f) interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Heritage Personal Injury Firm LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all documents and content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and store it solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We will retain your data for a reasonable period to allow you to export it, after which it will be securely deleted.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
